Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been indicted on child abuse charges for allegedly abusing his 4 year old son with a switch. Peterson has court ordered visitation with his son, and after a visit with him the boy had visible marks on his buttocks, scrotum, back, and legs. Peterson says he only disciplined the child as he was brought up in his childhood. This is very ironic being that he found out he had a child whom was beat by his mothers boyfriend to the point the little guy died. But according to Peterson, he was not “beating” his child, he was disciplining him.
Look at the marks on his son and you decide if Adrian went too far, or if he was doing what most parents do when their children misbehave.
It definitely could have been just discipline and he was careless with being aware of what he was doing, but if I was the boy’s mother and my son came home with these marks….it would definitely be a problem. How can you not notice he is drawing blood? He went overboard, and if this is what he grew up with shame on his parents.
This is the second running back suspended from the NFL for abuse within days of each other.

I was spanked many times with a switch just like him, but I made a promise if I had kids I would never beat my kids till they bleed.. I broke the abuse cycle with me. I hope he goes to jail and has to pay millions in damages. That’s the only way to hurt people like him, his wallet. To think my heart went out to him when his other son was killed he doesn’t deserve to be a father. Put his ass in jail
I spanked my children, but in my view this was clearly abusive. If a corporal punishment leaves a welt or draws blood as revealed by these pics, this is CHLD ABUSE!
Helen I can’t believe that that he saw the blood coming from his legs and thought it was ok.
