I absolutely loved Brandy growing up. She definitely was and still is one of my favorite artists today. Last night BET aired the Hip Hop Awards that take place in Atlanta, GA every year. One of the highlights of the show was Brandy performing “I Wanna Be Down” remix with hip hop veterans Queen Latifah, MC Lyte and Yo Yo. The crowd did not look as into it as I thought they would, but I definitely enjoyed it.
The single came out in 1994 and they group celebrated the 20th anniversary on stage together. Watch the video below.
