Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar is back with a dope ass song called “The Blacker The Berry”. He is going in and bringing to light to the struggles of being black in America. He also talks about the hypocrite black people that cried for Trayvon Martin but kill other black people due to gang banging. Our people don’t want to hear that though. Other races that kill our people is an outrage, but blacks killing blacks are acceptable? Take a listen.
Now if you aren’t about lyrics this is not for you. He actually had something to say and I listened. It is very appropriate for “Black History Month” being we only get 28 days (29 on leap year) to “celebrate” our heritage as if we didn’t make history every day.
In my opinion, he said things most of our people are scared to say. Keep it up Kendrick.
