Ever since I could remember FUBU, I have always known that it stood for “For Us By Us”. Thinking that he meant “clothes for Black people, made by Black people”. The creator of FUBU and Shark Tank cast member Daymond John, was stopped by a TMZ camera man, and was asked what did FUBU stand for. Here is what he said.
He never told us what it really stands for, but he made it very clear that it wasn’t what the world thought for many years. I remember when FUBU was hot. I hear he is trying to bring it back. He owns the Coogi brand and a bunch of others, he might be able to bring it back if he can get the styles right.
