LeToya Luckett has definitely come a long way from Destiny’s Child. The singer turned actress has landed the lead role as Ms. Dionne Warwick in the new biopic.
The movie is called Dionne, and it will give us details about Warwick’s life and career. According to Dionne herself, she feels LeToya has the right sound and look to play her.
“She just kind of morphed. Vocally, she was right. Her look was completely right.”
The movie will cover Warwick’s early career from 1962-1968. Danny Glover will play her father.
Lady Gaga was said to be in the movie, but she has denied this to be true.
They start filming in October.
