If you grew up in the 90’s like me then this news will definitely excite you. The 90’s was the era for great r&b music. It was a time when great music was actually about your talent, and Jodeci definitely did not lack when it came to that. Its time to teach these youngin’s about the legendary group in a biopic.
According to one of the group’s members Dalvin, a biopic is underway. He says, “It’s in the works already. They started the process last September. They finished the script, and it’s going into production next month. So we’re looking at probably the end-of-the-year release. VH1 bought the right’s, they own the right’s so far.”
The group consists of 2 duos of brothers K-Ci & Jo Jo and Mr. Dalvin & Davante Swing. The group has sold over 20 million records worldwide. They showed the world that men could sing and keep their macho man appearance as well. They blended a sound that gave you r&b, new jack swing and soul. They had hit singles ‘Forever My Lady’, ‘Come And Talk To Me’, ‘Stay’ and many more.

Now the group also had their ups and downs, especially dealing with sobriety. Back when K-Ci was in a relationship with r&b singer Mary J. Blige, they both suffered from addictions together. I am looking forward to see how this story plays out.
Jodeci is definitely legendary in the world of music, both r&b and hip-hop.
