The Ying Yang twins are a pioneer rap group that helped make “crunk music” mainstream. Many may not realize but the Atlanta rap group put “twerking” on the map back in 2000 with their first single “Whistle While You Twurk”.

One of their most popular songs was sexy single “Wait” aka The Whisper Song, from their album USA (United State of Atlanta). The song charted no. 3 on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop in 2005. The song was popular all over the globe. Group members Kaine D-Roc gained crossover success with the help of Lil’ Jon and Pitbull. Their song with Lil Jon ‘Get Low’ was even mentioned in the movie “The Proposal” starring Sandra Bullock and Ryan Reynolds. This hilarious scene has Sandra and Betty White dancing to “Get Low”.
Their songs will still have everyone on the dance floor today.
