Friday June 27th legendary soul singer Bobby Womack passed away at age 70. Although the cause is unknown at this time, Womack has suffered many health issues through out his life. He revealed to BBC that he had early signs of Alzheimer’s disease. He was also diagnosed with diabetes, and colon cancer. The health issues however never took away from his music.
Bobby Womack had many hits such as “If You Think You’re Lonely Now”, “Across 110th Street”, and “Woman’s Gotta Have It”. In 2009, he was inducted into the Rock N’ Roll Hall of Fame.
