Mona Scott Young is keeping those checks coming by keeping these Love & Hip Hop shows around. Some call it reality television, some call it exploitation….whatever you call it you know it will be full of drama and pure ratchetness. This time the empire has spread to Los Angeles where it will follow the stars of the past. When I say past I mean those who had a nice buzz in the 2000’s but fell off somehow. The cast got together last night to attend the premiere of the show that will take the place Monday nights of the Atlanta season.
The cast includes and will probably star Ray J, he has a bit of drama going on legally so that should add some entertainment to his storyline. His ex will also be on the show, Detroit’s own singer Teairra Marie. If you don’t remember her, she was signed to Roc-A-Fella by Jay Z back in …2004/2005? She had the hit single “Make Her Feel Good”. Well apparently her and Ray J somehow got together but he has since moved on and she is bitter about it. Next in the cast are two former members of heart throb group B2K, Omarion and Lil Fizz. Omarion’s girlfriend is pregnant and Fizz……well he is trying to make a comeback in the business. I read a few years ago he was dead broke and lost it all. Another familiar face is Young Berg, he had quite a few successful songs like the song with Ray J “Sexy Can I”. I figured after all the public humiliation with getting robbed time after time after claiming to be such a “goon”, he would go under the radar. Lastly Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy will be on the show as well. He is always up to some gimmick or some scandal, I am sure he will be a fan favorite.
