You never know what people have gone through in their past which affects your present and future and life. Boxing champ Mike Tyson did an interview with Sirius Radio Opie Radio Show. He discussed how at the age of 7 he was sexually assaulted by an old man who snatched him while he was walking down the street. He ran away and never saw the man again. He also talked about dealing with his demons when he is by himself. Watch a clip of the interview. You can tell the radio show hosts aren’t sure how to handle the info that was given.
He also revealed that he was bullied, so his anger is what got him into boxing. He has been open to discuss this and his challenges with drugs and mental illness. I love to see humble people discuss their struggles and how they overcame them.
He also has a new show coming out on Adult Swim (late night Cartoon Network) called Mike Tyson Mysteries.
