Lifetime is back at it with the debut of the Whitney Houston biopic right around the corner. The movie will is produced by Angela Bassett. She knew Whitney well and can touch on the high’s and low’s of her life and career. The trailer has been released, and it looks like they will focus on her music career, her relationship with Bobby Brown and her drug problem. Watch the trailer below.
It definitely looks like it will be better than the Aaliyah movie. We will hear Whitney’s iconic songs, but we will not hear her iconic voice in the movie. R&B songstress Deborah Cox will doing the vocals for Nippy. I hope this movie does her legacy justice, after Whitney Houston is the G.O.A.T. in my opinion.
