A few weeks ago we reported that rapper Lil’ Wayne was ready to leave his record label Cash Money Records like yesterday. Birdman was not pleased that Wayne publicly tweeted about wanting out. The two grew into a father and son relationship over the years, so we never thought the day would come that Wayne was not happy with Birdman or his label. Birdman reportedly is saying he will not let Lil’ Wayne out of his contract and will go to court if necessary for enforcement.
Apparently there is a lot of paperwork that is necessary to release an album and Birdman (does he still go by Baby?) plans to release it on his time….not Wayne’s.
