Looks like we are about to see the rap version of American Idol. Rapper Crooked I has put together a reality show to find the next new rap star. He is going across the country to find that new artist and give them “One Shot”. He will be bringing along guest judges such as TI, The Game, DJ Khaled, RZA, E-40, Twista, the legendary Scarface and more. The auditions will take place in Atlanta, Miami, L.A., Chicago, New York, Charlotte, San Francisco and Houston.
The regular judges will include Sway Calloway, Crooked I, and SMH Records CEO Mike Smith. Each city will have one celebrity guest judge. Being where they are from, you can just about guess which cities will have which guest judge (TI in Atlanta, E-40 in Frisco, Scarface in Houston).
The winner will take home a contract with SMH Records and $100,000.00.
So many submissions have gone viral to make the first round of auditions. They are trying to make it to the main event by the end of the show. They will perform in front of an audience and the celebrity judges and will take place in a famous hip-hop venue.
