Actress Naya Rivera was a guest on The View this morning. She participated in hygiene segment called “How Much Should You Shower”. She stated that she showers every three days because a study she read said it was normal to do. People then gave Naya the side eye when she said
“I think that white people shower a lot more than ethnic. I feel like showering more than once a day is such a white people thing.”
She then said :
“My mom is half black, half Puerto Rican. She showers every day, so I can say this. But I’m now married to a white man. And he showers a lot, like two, three times a day. I’m like ‘What are you doing?'”

Naya has since apologized saying it was supposed to be a joke and that she apologizes if she offended anyone.
