If you grew up in the 90’s then you are no doubt familiar with the legendary group ‘Brownstone’. One of the group’s members included Charmayne “Maxee” Maxwell. Maxee was at her Denmark home by herself, after attending her son’s soccer game. Her husband, Danish music producer Carsten Soulshock, came home and found her on the floor.
She was bleeding profusely with shards of glass around her. The EMS came, and rushed her to the hospital, but she died from losing too much blood.
There have been speculation that she was suicidal because of a tweet Maxee posted. She said after watching R&B Divas, she wanted to crawl into a hole and die. However, her brother says that was not the case.
We definitely send condolences to her family.
