If you are anything like me then you my friend enjoy traveling. Whether it be planning a trip for you and the family or a weekend getaway with your boo. Dubai should be one of those places you plan to visit. It is definitely on my bucket list, so here are 5 reasons why you may want to add it to yours too!
1. Shopping
Dubai is known for its beautiful architecture and thriving entertainment scene, but it is also known for having very creative shopping malls. Home to the world’s largest mall, the stores are familiar, but the experience is unforgettable. They focus on “fantasy” to lure you in. The Dubai Mall has an underwater zoo, aquarium and theme park. Souk Madinat is a mall inside of the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel. It has a waterway that takes consumers from their hotel to the mall, restaurants and bars. Mall of the Emirates has an indoor ski slope with real snow. Now I have never been skiing before but I would love to experience that.

2. Beaches
Who doesn’t love a paradise view? The beaches in Dubai are superbly created. You can also stop and eat everything from pub burgers to Gelato, right on the beach. You can also ride a camel on the sand if your heart desires.
3. Desert Fun
You can’t go to Dubai and not jump on a 4 wheeler. There is also a place where you can eat BBQ, watch a belly dancer and go sandboarding at a private overnight safari.
4. Water Parks
For those who don’t mind getting their weaves wet, Dubai has 2 major water parks. Wild Wadi Water Park and Atlantis are key factors to a good time in Dubai. At Wild Wadi, there are 30 different rides at this water park, which is connected to the Jumeirah Resort.

You probably are very familiar with Atlantis, because they show commercials here in the U.S. that make you want to jump through the screen. Atlantis only has 2 locations, Dubai and in the Bahamas. In Dubai they call it checking into another world. You can scuba dive with dolphins, zip line across the beach, and feed Sting Rays.

5. Luxury Hotels
Let’s admit it, some hotels are so nice that you don’t even care about leaving it to explore around. Hotels in Dubai are so luxurious that you may enjoy just lounging in a cabana sipping a pina colada all day. The hotels stand out with some having rooms under water. You can see fish swim by through a huge glass window. One hotel even offers polo lessons. Dubai is also home to the world’s tallest hotel, Rose Rayhaan. It has 72 stories and a Guinness world record. If you don’t mind spending your coin on luxury, stay at the only 7 star hotel in the world, Burj al Arab.

They say that Dubai is one of the safest places on earth, as the crime rate is beyond low.
I hope to visit this beautiful country soon. If you like luxury on a budget, Groupon will come in handy. It is always good to experience different places and cultures. What is country is on your bucket list?
