Bill Cosby will be heading back to court soon. According to The Jasmine Brand, a woman named Tamara Green is suing Cosby for defamation of character, after claiming Cosby called her a liar to the media many times . She accuses Cosby of drugging and sexually assaulting her in the 70’s. in 2006 Cosby was sued by Andrea Constand for emotional distress, battery, assault and defamation The lawsuit was settled and the files were sealed, but Tamara Green says that those files will help her new case.
According to Green, Cosby admitted in his deposition that he sexually assaulted Green and other women. She feels those documents are vital for her case. Cosby however, says the documents are not important and not related to her case, and does not want a judge to let the public know what was said in his deposition. A judge agreed with Cosby and dismissed Green’s request to release the records.
There are 3 other subpoenas from other women attempting to get their hands on those documents for their own cases. Cosby is hoping a judge dismisses their cases before the Pennsylvania judge releases them.
If he really did not do it, that means the deposition should include him saying he was innocent right? Something else is in those documents, that’s for sure.
