If you grew up watching ‘Sister Sister’, then this news should excite you.
Actress Tia Mowry-Hardrict confirmed that she and her twin sister Tamera Mowry- Housely are looking for a producer and a writer to get this reboot process started.
She told Nylon magazine “We’re looking, right now, for a producer and a writer, someone who can kind of be a leader of the pack in regards to running the show,”.
Although it is a wonderful idea to reboot such a great family show (which we lack these days), Tia says this process is harder than her and Tamera expected. “I thought people would kind of be jumping on it, but it’s a lot harder than my sister and I thought it would be. Everything in my career has always been a challenge.”
‘Sister Sister’ ran from 1994-1999 under ABC and The WB network. The show which also starred comedienne Jackee’ Harry & Tim Reid, was loved by both parents and kids. People still look at Tia and Tamera as the twins we knew on the show, so I can see them jumping right back into their respective characters. So far social media has taken liking to the news.

Are you here for the reboot? The question is who will snag the show? Netflix has been doing one hell of job with their new content. The Dave Chapelle specials are a hit and they will release the Lupita N’youngo and Rihanna movie. I am sure they will snatch this opportunity up quick.
