Now that it looks like Lil Wayne will be paid, Tyga wants his portion.
Fresh off the Birdman apology to Lil Wayne, we learn that rapper Tyga is now suing both Young Money and Cash Money labels. According to TMZ, Tyga made a deal with the YMCM back in 2009 to produce 2 albums. Both Hotel California and Careless World: Rise of The Last King chartered big but Tyga says he didn’t get all of the money for the albums he was owed.
The lawsuit goes on to say that in 2016 both former labels agreed to pay him royalties but he has yet to be paid. He says he has made every effort to get his money so a lawsuit was his last resort.
This wasn’t the first time their labels have been sued. T-Pain and David Banner sued Young Money for monies owed.
