Whew chile the scandal!
Good ole Carey Kelly, brother of R. Kelly, is back talking to outlets that will listen to his story. A few months ago Carey dropped a song accusing his brother of being bisexual, and now he is telling a story of sexual assault.
Carey told unWinewithTashaK that his brother began to sexually assault their cousin who was 14 years old at the time. He then says at 17 the young woman got pregnant. He says there was no DNA test to prove is R. Kelly was the father.
Carey Kelly did go on to say that he knows where R. Kelly’s things for young girls stems from,
‘What I do know is, when it took place, was turmoil between the family and different stuff like that. The only reason he targets little girls, now that I am older, I understand. He was molested. I was molested [as well], but I did not turn out that way. I became a protector of kids. I did not want kids to go through what I went through…especially my daughters.’
He then went on to speak on the inappropriate relationship Kellz had with late r&b singer Aaliyah.
‘I picked it up while he was working on her [Aaliyah’s] album and he started producing ‘Age Ain’t Nothin But a Number.’ I am listening to the [lyrics], and I am paying closer attention to how they are vibing. They would be right next to each other, cuddled up and different things of that nature. That did not seem right with him being the age that he was, and her being the age that she was.’
Carey also went on to say that he knows that R. Kelly fans find it hard to believe because they have idolized him for so long.
“A lot of people didn’t believe it because of who he is and that’s how he’s been able to sustain in this business as an artist and as human being [without] not being locked away,” he said. “It’s almost hard to believe that this icon, this superstar, would do things of that nature.”
Surprisingly despite the allegations, women continue to be R. Kelly’s biggest supporters.
