Young Thug’s road manager Jimmy Winfrey reached out to Birdman from jail and the recording has been released to the media.
Back in 2015 Winfrey was arrested for the alleged shooting of Lil’ Wayne’s tour bus. It was said that rappers Young Thug and Birdman were behind the shooting at the time. Both men had issues with Wayne so motive wasn’t hard to guess. Only Winfrey was arrested and charged, but now the case is being tried again, after a judge agreed that the defendant was coerced into a plea which gave him 10 years in prison.
A recording of Winfrey and Birdman, real name Brian Williams, has surfaced and quite a few people think they hear them discussing Winfrey getting paid for the job. Take a listen.
The new D. A. is now determining if they will include Birdman and Young Thug in the new court case.
