Nobody imagined that 2020 would start off the way that it did. This coronavirus has taken over the world in such a major way. With so much sadness going on, the internet is making sure we are staying entertained. DJ’s like DJ Suss One, Mannie Fresh, D Nice and more are going live giving dope ass sets, to help bring some smiles to the people.
On Saturday night two of the hottest music writers and producers battled each other on Instagram. The Dream and Sean Garrett The Pen gave us 3 hours of music that each of them worked on, to prove who had the better hits. This battle also schooled some of us that did not know these gentleman worked on many songs the world loves. From songs like Beyonce’s ‘Upgrade You’ to Rihanna’s ‘Hard’ featuring Young Jeezy, the two proved why they are two important pieces of our culture.
Sean was full of energy, and very entertaining to say the least. The Dream calmly gave him a run for his money in the first couple rounds, and then Sean won the last round. At one point it was the battle of Beyonce, as the two played which of the superstar’s hits they thought trumped each other. The pen playing Upgrade You, challenging The Dream’s Partition.
