Empire actor Bryshere Gray was arrested for domestic violence. His wife (had no clue he was married) ran to a Circle K gas station in Goodyear, AZ for help. According to the police report, his wife flagged down a stranger who she told Gray beat her for hours.
Mrs. Gray told cops that Bryshere strangled her and she temporarily lost consciousness during the alleged assault. She was taken to the hospital with visible injuries, but was treated and released.
Cops say they went to try and talk to Bryshere, but he barricaded himself in the home. After crisis negotiators and SWAT arrived, cops say the standoff finally ended around 7 AM when Bryshere surrendered to officers in front of his home.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Maricopa County Jail on felony aggravated assault (strangulation), misdemeanor assault (domestic violence), and misdemeanor disorderly conduct.
Last year it was said that Gray may have battled with mental illness at one point before. We hope he can get help, and back on track.
