Nicki Minaj’s husband Kenneth Petty has reached a plea deal in his case. He was charged with failure to register as sex offender in California back in 2020.
Petty moved to Cali in 2019 to be with his wife, however it seems he did not realize the importance of not letting authorities know. He was required to register due to a 1995 attempted rape charge back in New York. The alleged victim spoke on IG live that both Nicki and Kenneth tried to bribe her, and even had someone threaten her and her family.
Petty decided to plea it out because he could have been facing 10 years in prison. The judge will determine his punishment but the charge comes with a mandatory minimum sentence of 5 years of supervised release.
