We sadly report that Memphis rapper Young Dolph has been shot and killed in his hometown today. Here’s what we know.
Fox 13 reports that the 36 year old rapper was inside of Makeda’s Butter Cookies in Memphis, TN, when someone drove up and started shooting. Maurice Hill, the owner of the shop where the shooting happened confirmed this took place around 1:00 pm Wednesday.
It is unclear at this time who is being the murder. Dolph had issues with quite a few people including fellow Memphis Rapper Yo Gotti. Most recently rapper Soulja Boy called him out for saying how much money he has made as an independent artist. Soulja also mocked Dolph getting shot back in 2017.
