On December 2nd, rap legends Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and Three 6 Mafia are going head to head in a Verzuz battle of their hit songs. Now if you follow Verzuz on Instagram, then you know they always have each performer post a few shady videos to get the viewers excited about it. Bizzy Bone from Bone Thugs however, is not taking this battle lightly.
The Cleveland rapper took to his Instagram account to call out the Memphis rappers for pretending to sell their soul to the devil for profit.
Now if you aren’t familiar with Three 6 Mafia (aka Triple 6 Mafia), the group’s name is a play off 666 which in the Bible is known as the mark of the beast. The group rapped about Lucifer; and they incorporated Satanic imagery in their artwork. In a 2013 interview with Yahoo music, rapper Gangsta Boo admitted to dabbling in witch craft after she joined the group.
“I’ve always heard about it and we was in this group called 666 Mafia so I wanted to be as dark as possible.”, she told Yahoo. She then went on to clarify she is a godly person but just knows about the good and evil and raps about it, but she denounced being a devil worshipper.
Now Bizzy wanted to mention the group being devil worshipers but Three 6 members are trying to stop that. Bizzy’s point of view in his post is, if this has been what Three 6 markets or has marketed, why can’t he say they are devils or devil worshippers? Check it out.
Whew! So Bizzy Bone wants Three 6 Mafia to denounce Satan publicly to prove it hasn’t all been a marketing ploy, but isn’t that what people in Hollywood do? It’s all a marketing scheme. The question is…will they do it?
