Bow Wow Talks Wishing He Never Signed To So So Def. Praises Snoop.

Bow Wow decided to do a little Q&A on Twitter answering questions about his career. What people didn’t expect was for him to praise Snoop Dogg but downplay Jermaine Dupri for him having a successful career.

Bow has always credited Snoop Dogg for discovering him. Although people didn’t believe him, he was supposed to be a Death Row artist. Snoop felt it was too dangerous for him on that label and connected Bow Wow with Jermaine Dupri of So So Def.

Instead of leaving it there, Bow Wow says that he wishes he would have stayed with Snoop at Death Row and never signed with JD.

Of course the fans instantly wanted to know why Bow Wow was being hella shady towards JD, but he claims there is no beef, and that he has said worse to JD’s face.

Bow Wow continued to say he and JD have no real work chemistry, and that all of his music and albums released under SoSo Def were “mid”.

Bow Wow definitely has to give JD credit because who knows what may have come out of his career had he stayed with Death Row. He also had a lot of success in the business based of songs JD was involved with.

JD has also been considered to be a father figure to Bow Wow since his biological father was not around. I watched Growing Up Hip-Hop and Bow’s own mother referred to Jermaine Dupri as Bow Wow’s “Dad”, so its unfortunate to see the relationship turn this way.

Bow Wow says his last album will be released on Death Row Records and will be a soundtrack to his life. He is including a documentary for the world to understand why he is who and how he is.
