Kirk Franklin’s son Kerrion was arrested and is being held without bond according to court documents from the Beverly Hills Police. On April 10th, Kerrion was pulled over and was said to be driving the car registered to a woman that was reported missing and is presumably dead.
A gun was found in the car, but Kerrion denies that it’s his, and states that he has no connection to the woman that is missing. He claims he has owned the car for over a year, and doesn’t believe the woman is dead. “I don’t think that’s true because I’ve met the woman who sold me the car,” he stated.
Kerrion spoke with Larry Reid Live from jail stating, “I’m just keeping my mind positive. I really do aim to live a righteous lifestyle, all of this is unnecessary. I just want you guys to keep me in your prayers.”
He also told Reid that he was originally stopped for a broken taillight, and believes he was wrongfully arrested. He was given “permanent housing” and is currently waiting to be extradited to Texas for another situation.

His father Kirk Franklin has not released a statement. The world learned of their estranged relationship after a clip of the pastor cussing his son out went viral. Kerrion is also a cast member on Bad Boys LA on Zeus Network, where he discusses his relationship with his father going wrong after he came out as bisexual.
