No matter if you were an adult or a kid like myself in the 90’s, unless you lived under a rock, you watched MARTIN. The timeless comedy still graces households 30 years later, and will forever be a staple in our culture. The reunion show was no different, and since we probably won’t get a reboot, it was just what we needed.
Martin Lawrence, Tichina Arnold, Carl Anthony Payne and Tisha Campbell returned to the set of the MARTIN show, and relived some of their funniest moments. Hosted by Affion Crockett, the reunion special went from character to character breaking down how the cast pulled together to make magic.
The cast made sure to honor their late co-star Tommy Ford with a memorial like scene in the group’s favorite bar Nipsey’s.
Tommy’s wife, daughter and son took the stage while his wife and each co-star each spoke about how Tommy touched their lives.
