A shooting took place at Kandi Burruss & Todd Tucker’s restaurant Blaze Steak & Seafood in Atlanta on Wednesday. The police say they received a call about 7:30 pm that an employee at the restaurant was firing a weapon during a fight.
Police say while they don’t know what triggered the fight, they do know that one of the employees pulled out a gun and shot the other in the arm. South Fulton police said that the suspect left the scene before they arrived.
The victim is reportedly said to be her nephew Melvin Jones, who is a chef, and also appeared on her Real Housewives of Atlanta spin off, Kandi & The Gang.
He was taken to the hospital, and did not have any life threatening injuries according to the Atlanta Journal. He did post in his Instagram stories showing pictures that he had been shot.
Police say the unnamed suspect is still on the run.
In 2020, three people were shot at Burruss and Tucker’s other restaurant, Old Lady Gang.
