Beverly Hills Middle School Kids Used AI To Create Student Nude Photos.

Students in a Beverly Hills middle school are using AI to generate deep fake nude photo’s of their peers. Beverly Hills Unified School District says the images were created and shared by other students at Beverly Vista Middle School. They took pictures of real students faces and merged them on fake nude bodies.

The school emailed parents advising they were starting an investigation, making them aware of the content circling around. The email stated:

“In the interest of full transparency, this message is being sent to all staff and parents in BHUSD as well as BHHS and BVMS students. This is an important message for our entire community.

“On Wednesday, the BVMS Administration received reports from students about the creation and dissemination by other students of Artificial Intelligence generated (AI) images that superimposed the faces of our students onto AI-generated nude bodies. As the investigation is progressing today, more victims are being identified. We are taking every measure to support those affected and to prevent any further incidents.”

“Any student found to be creating, disseminating, or in possession of AI-generated images of this nature will face disciplinary actions, including, but not limited to, a recommendation for expulsion”

Many girls at the school were impacted by the fake photo’s, and victims continue to come forward to the school officials.

Deep fakes can go further than just still photo’s, and that makes it even more scary. A Texas teacher was a victim of having her head being placed on a pornographic video. Parent’s should be very concerned about this trend.

Facebook is making its own AI deepfakes to head off a disinformation disaster | MIT Technology Review

“Dozens of apps are available online to “undress” someone in a photo, simulating what a person would look like if they’d been nude when the shot was taken. The apps use AI-powered image inpainting technology to remove the pixels that represent clothing, replacing them with an image that approximates that person’s nude body,” said Rijul Gupta, founder and chief executive of Deep Media .

This is a real problem.
