A former nanny for rap mogul Sean Combs aka Diddy, says she was fired by him because she wanted to take maternity leave. She is also claiming to be the niece of Kim Porter, who was the mother to Diddy’s children. However, Diddy’s team says this is a shakedown, and the woman is not even related to Kim.
Now according to court documents, the woman who identified as “Jane Doe”, says she moved into Diddy’s home and watched twins, D’Lila and Jessie full time after their mother passed away in 2018. She says she was responsible for their care 24/7. But when she got pregnant in 2020 and told Diddy she needed to take maternity leave, she claims that he became infuriated and she got fired.
Jane further claims that Diddy’s team told her the reason is that she “purportedly set a bad example” for the girls by being pregnant and unmarried. The woman is seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
A rep for Diddy told TMZ that this case does not qualify legally to keep Jane Doe’s identity a secret, and that her name is Raven. The rep also said, “This lawsuit is a meritless shakedown to extort money from Mr Combs. Raven is not the niece of Kim Porter as she falsely alleges”
Diddy’s team says that the arrangement he had with Raven was always supposed to be a temporary thing.
“Her babysitting services were always intended to be temporary especially since the girls were getting older and spending most of the day at school. In fact, Raven’s transition out of her role was planned and agreed to by her long before she even mentioned that she was pregnant. Mr. Combs will take swift and immediate action to protect his family against these false claims.”
