In 2002 Diddy’s ‘Making The Band 2’ on MTV was one of the most talked about television shows at that time. Sean ‘Puff Daddy” Combs went city to city holding auditions to find the best singers and rappers to be apart of this documented music competition. The prize was a contract to his label, Bad Boy Records. He selected 6 people and formed the group ‘Da Band’. One of the members decided to put Diddy on blast saying Diddy took it all away because they wouldn’t “kiss ass”.

Is the “Bad Boy Curse” real? Diddy has been called out by many artists for allegedly having bad business practices. Even fans wondered why many artists that sign to Bad Boy end up with bad contracts or are never heard from again. Former ‘Da Band’ group member Freddy P posted a tearful 15 minute video speaking about how Diddy made him hate life. He says he struggled after Da Band was dissolved by Diddy because Diddy blackballed him in the industry.
“You can’t even get where you’re going because the world is built off relationships. So if a n***a f**k with you, that’s saying they don’t f**k with Diddy”.
Freddy says DJ Khaled and Rick Ross turned their backs on him after he introduced them to Diddy.
They got their deals on the strength of me. Khaled and Diddy relationship is built off me man.” “I was the only n***a screaming Khaled name when he wasn’t sh*t, bro. Every city, every club, every radio station, every event “Khaled the number 1 DJ”, that was me n***a.
He also touched on how Diddy made 70 million dollars off of their group, and the group members Sara Stokes, Babs Bunny, Chopper, E. Ness, Dylan Dilinjer, and Freddy P did not make even 200k per person.

That was a lot to take in. Freddy posted this video after a clip of Diddy forcing the group to walk from Manhattan to Brooklyn to purchase Junior’s cheesecake went viral.
WebCelebDaily is sending Freddy P love and light. He is definitely right when he says the industry is not what it seems.
Although Fred did @ him, Diddy has yet to respond.
