In 2015 Ice Cube will be debuting the official movie based on the controversial group ‘NWA’. The group featured Arabian Prince, DJ Yella, Dr. Dre, Eazy-E, Ice Cube and MC Ren. Earlier this year Cube told MTV why he wanted to get the movie out to the world. “We just tryin’ to tell the story of the world’s most dangerous group. We’re trying to tell aspects of our lives that people don’t know about, people aren’t privy to.” Read more of this story below.

The movie will be titled ‘Straight Out Of Compton’ which is named after one the group’s critically acclaimed songs. Universal Studios is behind the film, and  F. Gary Gray will direct the film. The film is set to be released August 2015. Cube says Marcus Callendar would play Dr. Dre, Jason Mitchell would play Eazy-E and Cube’ son O’Shea Jackson Jr., would play him.

The movie will follow the rise and fall of the epic group, showing how they revolutionized  pop culture and music forever. They spoke truth about what was going on in the streets and ghettos across America and sparked a cultural war. Will you pay to go see this film?
