Remains of a badly decomposed body were found in the trunk of a car that had been sitting in an impound lot. Police confirm they are the remains of 25-year-old Taylour Young.

According to police, Taylour went missing in Houston on December 9th, 2021 during his lunch break from work. He was last seen driving his 2019 silver Honda Civic near a Capital One Bank. When both his mother and girlfriend were not able to make contact with him, they tracked his phone using the Find My Phone app, but they found the phone in bushes near the bank.
Taylour’s car was found in Dallas on January 19th, but police have no idea how he ended up over 100 miles away from his home. Based on how badly decomposed his body was, it seems he has been dead for quite a while.

His case is an open investigation, and police are turning to the public for help. Anyone with information concerning Young’s death is urged to call the Houston Police Department Homicide Division at 713-308-3600.
His mother Tiffany Robinson posted on Instagram, “As I shared Taylour’s disappearance with the world, I want to share my worldly loss as well. I lost my son, my baby, my friend; and will raise his love, his dog Gigi,”. “During [our] time of mourning, I ask that you continue to lift us up in prayer,” Robinson added, thanking those who supported her family during their search. “Be mindful and respectful of our privacy and the fact that the investigation is still ongoing.”
Last month she spoke about her son and told PEOPLE, “He was humble, nice, active and friendly. He loves fishing, riding bikes, but most importantly skateboarding,” Robinson said. “He’s not argumentative. He’s not a fighter. He loves helping people. It’s just odd that this could happen to him, disappearing.”
