2005 Deposition Documents Show That Bill Cosby Admitted To Giving Drugs To Women He Wanted To Have Sex With.

Remember when we posted about this story a few months back? Bill Cosby is being sued by a woman who says he slandered her,  by calling her liar when she said he drugged and sexually assaulted her. Her lawyer wanted to subpoena records from his 2005 deposition, where in another case, a woman said he raped and drugged her.

That case was settled and Andrea Constand was not allow to ever discuss the case or the amount received. Just recently did Bill Cosby file documents to try to prevent a judge from unsealing them for their cases.  According to CNN, those documents have been released.

In the deposition, Attorney Delores Troiani asked Cosby, “When you got the quaaludes, was it in your mind that you were going to use these quaaludes for young women that you wanted to have sex with?” and “Did you ever give any of those young women the quaaludes without their knowledge?”

Cosby then corrected his earlier statement when he said he gave the drugs to other people because he misunderstood when he was asked about “woman” and he thought they said “women”.

In his sworn testimony, he admitted he gave Andrea Constand 3 Quaaludes, and used Benadryl to knock her out. He also  described an incident in Las Vegas in the 70’s. He says, “She meets me backstage. I give her quaaludes. We then have sex,”.  The woman’s name was taken out of the report, however, one alleged victim says that story was about her. Therese Serignese is one of the three victims suing Cosby. Serignese says she was 19 in the 70’s, and she had an encounter with Cosby. She told 20/20 that Cosby gave her pills in her dressing room after one of her shows. She says, “feeling drugged, and I was kind of leaning forward, and he was behind me having sex with me. And I — I remember it because it was not good.”

Serignese says she didn’t come forward until now because she simply could not prove that she raped. She says Cosby was a powerful man and had connections everywhere. “He didn’t drink or take the pills. They could test him, and he’d be clean.” she said.

What will this mean for the Cosby legacy? Many people have looked up to him.  Many celebrities have stood by him, saying the media was out to ruin his legacy. One of those people was r&b singer Jill Scott. She recanted her statement where she said she stood by Bill Cosby. Here is how she feels now:

We will be waiting for your statement Bill.
