I came across a post today from August Alsina’s mother Sheila Blair on Instagram. She commented under Angela Yee’s picture of August posing with The Breakfast Club, saying she didn’t understand why August was treating her so badly. This also made think about a post August himself posted on IG, which was a text from one of his family members, who in the texts also said he was lying on the family to promote his new music.

According to his mother, August doesn’t even deal with his mother like that. She feels he is in need of some kind of help. Does she mean mentally or spiritually?

Could what his family is saying have truth to it? This person behind the texts is clearly pissed off. I don’t know what the deep rooted issue is, but it would be great to see August and his mom work things out. You only get one.
Sometimes the “powers that be” push you to do things that could go against what you believe for the sake of album sales, could this be one of those cases?
